Traffic is an emotional thriller based on a True Story of a road trip from Mumbai to Pune. The complex plot is about a day in the lives of a few people who are at the same Traffic junction in Mumbai city at the beginning of the day, and how their fates get entangled because of an incident.
The film tugs at our hearts as a police car races to deliver a live heart (organ) from Mumbai to Pune just in time to save the life of a 13 year old girl.
Given the plot of the film, the trailer launch event was graced by Mr. Sunil Paraskar - Additional Commissioner of Police-Traffic along with and the green corridor officers like Mahim div- sr pi jagtap & pc 06.0340 Nale, Bkc div. Sr pi shinde & Hc 28261 Chavan, Chembur div. PSI YADAV & pc 03.0432 padwal, Vikhroli div. Psi sawant & Hc24841 patil s v. Mulund div. It was a great initiative by the team of 'Traffic' to include the team of Green corridor officers for the trailer launch event, as these brave hearts have carried many such special operations and have been instrumental in saving many lives.
The trailer features a crisp glimpse of the complex journey with moments that give you goosebumps.
The words 'It took 150 minutes to save a life and create history' stand tall and are a leftover, which evokes intrigue.
The film releases on 6th May, 2016.
