Y-Films launched their third short film Textbook

You can clearly never go wrong with a love story – going by the fantastic response that Y-Films, Yash Raj Films’ youth wing has received to their anthology of short films titled ‘Love Shots’ that opened with ‘The Road Trip’ starring Nimrat Kaur & Tahir Raj Bhasin and ‘Koi Dekh Lega’ featuring Saqib Saleem & Shweta Tripathi. Set in Class VI C of a kendriya vidyalaya, the story introduces YRF’s youngest romantic leads – the super talented Shravani Desai and Shubham Tukaram along with the multi-talented Swanand Kirkire as the oppressive Prof. O. P. Sharma sir!

Directed by Ankur Tewari, the film features original music composed & performed by the Gaurav Dagaonkar featuringDivya Kumar. A fun Rajasthani pop song titled ‘Pyaar Bubblegum’.

Adds Gaurav Dagaonkar, the composer, “Working on Pyaar Bubblegum was like enjoying a free period in school when the teacher doesn't turn up...absolute fun! Anurag's lyrics and Divya Kumar's funky desi vocals made the song really colourful. But the best part was shooting the video in school uniforms...took all of us back in time when life was innocent and blissful! Kudos to Y-films for pushing the envelope by having a soundtrack on this unique and fun web series!”
