Gautam Rode's show Mahakumbh nominated for New York festival

Popular television director Arvind Babbal has not just made the Indian television fraternity but also the nation proud, as he has been nominated at New York Festivals – International Television & Film Awards 2016 to be held in April in Las Vegas!

Arvind has been nominated in the Best Director (India) category for his popular mega television serial Mahakumbh – Ek Rahasya, Ek Kahani at the coveted festival, considered as one of the world's largest international competitions including both the TV and film industries.

The creative maverick, who has produced the magnum opus Mahakumbh...under his banner 'Arvind Babbal Productions Pvt Ltd', feels the show has intrigued the viewers and it has raised their curiosity “if 'amrit' does exist for real?” and that he believes is his achievement!

Arvind, who has worked with the likes of Sanjay Leela Bhansali, has won lot of accolades as the creator of the show, which was appreciated by critics and audiences for its grand and picturesque visuals, cutting age visual effects and great storytelling.
