Bollywood isn’t as
glamorous as it looks like rather a very competitive one especially who raise
themselves coming from a non-filmy background. Gandharv Sachdev is one
of them, who came to the city of dreams to become a playback singer in
Bollywood. But unlike thousands of other aspiring artists Gandharv chose an
unusual path to enter through his inherent entrepreneurial abilities. As the
first step after completing his stint at Whistling Woods as a filmmaker the
budding singer-entrepreneur started with his Production ViaMonk Media &
Entertainment under which he as a co-producer released the critically acclaimed
Hindi feature film ‘FUDDU’ and is all to take bigger steps with ingenious
ideas. Learning the nuances of filmmaking and its business at the film school
Gandharv Sachdev has also got the know-how of the industry pattern of working.
He believes there should be an accurate balance between business and creativity
to achieve success and maintain it.
As a part of the competitive film industry Mr. Sachdev has already made
a mark with his recent release. Since the film starred newcomers Gandharv
Sachdev made a remarkable move with innovative strategy in order to promote the
film well for the desired demographics. Keeping in mind that Music is something
that lasts he strategized and produced everlasting numbers that amalgamated
with the content of the film which uplifted it. He roped in actors like Sunny
Leone, Sharman Joshi, Gauahar Khan and Anita Hassanandani along with Ranbir
Kapoor who were impressed with the content presented with right kind of
strategies. He is grateful for all the support he has received so far and has
delivered as planned.
Along with having the ability of creating
innovative business models Gandharv is a born singer and has dreams to create a
mark as a singer. He comes with hereditary qualities from his Father who is an
entrepreneur in Delhi and his mother who is a National Award winning sitarist
who inspired and trained him to become a singer. He got hold of
the tunes at the young age of four and this culminated into a young budding
singer as he grew up. He participated in shows like SaReGaMa and Channel V
Pop Stars 2 with actor brothers Ayushmann and Aparshakti Khurrana. The popularity
kept him going and undeterred he decided to follow
the focused education in Bachelors of Business Administration at S.D. College
in Chandigrah where he even formed his own band which became popular in no
time. Offers for new albums started pouring in however they had reached a
saturation point and they decided to split up. Having a strong foundation of
Hindustani Classical Music he made his debut in Bollywood as a singer with
popular song ‘Tu Zaroorat Nahi Tu Zaroori Hai’ with Shreya Ghoshal a song from
the film Fuddu featuring Sunny Leone and Sharman Joshi and shayari voiced by
Ranbir Kapoor.
