SALMAN KHAN GETS AN INTERNATIONAL LEADING LADY


i. Internationally acclaimed film and television Chinese actress Zhu Zhu is the leading lady opposite Salman Khan in his Eid 2017 release 'Tubelight'. 
ii. Zhu Zhu made a huge splash as a Mandarin pop star, and headlining VJ for MTV China.
iii. She has become Hollywood's go-to actress for Asian roles in films including with Hollywood A-listers like Tom Hanks in the Wachowski's 'Cloud Atlas', and Russell Crowe in The Man With the Iron Fist.

iv. She also plays the lead in Netflix's original series Marco Polo, where she plays the Mongol princess Kokachin where she also showcases her action skills.
v.In 2015, Zhu Zhu also represented designer Stella McCartney at the Met Gala.
vi. She was also the voice of Viper in the 2016 animation hit Kung Fu Panda 3.

Kabir Khan is excited about the casting, he saya, "We did an extensive casting call across various cities including Beijing, Los Angeles and HK for the actress opposite Salman. Zhu Zhu was somebody I liked immediately, she has strong screen presence and is a fantastic actress...salman and she will make an interesting on screen couple."

Zhu Zhu  adds,  "I received the script of TUBELIGHT and I was deeply touched by the spirit of the film and I am sure this going to be another amazing experience in my career and in my life. I am thrilled to have this opportunity to work with Salman Khan. I have seen his films and I'm very much charmed by his talent. Kabir Khan is not only a brilliant filmmaker but also in his films he always talks about humanity and love and ordinary people's lives which everyone in the world can relate to, I am honoured to be a part of TUBELIGHT.
