Five things why you should not miss Happy Bhag Jayegi

Eros International and Colour Yellow Productions’ laughter riot, Happy Bhag Jayegi, directed by Mudassar Aziz, featuring Abhay Deol, Diana Penty, Jimmy Shergill and Ali Fazal released on August 19 and has been getting thunderous response.

Here are five highlights of the family entertainer which makes it for a perfect weekend watch!

Interesting bunch of actors!
The first and foremost element that will strike you about the movie is that it features an interesting ensemble of talented actors. While the laughter riot marks the comeback of Abhay Deol and Diana Penty to the silver screen, joining them in the fun and chaos are Jimmy Shergill and Ali Fazal along with supporting cast including Pakistani actress Momal Sheikh, Piyush Mishra and Kanwaljeet which has piqued everyone’s curiosity.

Cross-border comedy!
It’s a genre not many filmmakers have attempted before in the past. In that sense, credit goes to director Mudassar Aziz for creating a fresh concept with hilarious twists. The movie revolves around a young bride who crosses over the border accidentally and lands up in the neighbouring country resulting in an eventful series of crazy episodes.

Music
It comes as no surprise, especially since Aanand L Rai is known to have a keen ear for music which has always managed to hit a chord with the masses. The music of the run-com composed by Sohail Sen has certainly made its way to every locker room, college campus, and ruling the airwaves.

Krishika Lulla and Aanand L Rai successful collaboration!
Post their successful innings with musical blockbusters, Raanjhanaa and Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Eros International and Colour Yellow Productions have collaborated once again for Happy Bhag Jayegi. Known for their penchant for unusual casting, brilliant narrative and catchy music, one is definitely expecting an interesting movie experience.

Jimmy Shergill as the ‘surprise package’!
Post Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Jimmy has yet again managed to strike the right chord with the audience in Happy Bhag Jayegi, co-produced by his favourite filmmaker-friend Aanand L Rai. The versatile actor’s hilarious act as Corporator Bagga who loses his bride on the day of their marriage evokes laughter on every scene. Also, watch out for Jimmy’s Yaara O Yaara dance!
