Salman Khan lends his voice for Hanuman da Damdaar.

Salman Khan, earlier seen as a Bajrangi bhakt, now lends his voice for the Herculean lord Hanuman in an animated feature film by Percept Pictures.

In December 2007, Anurag Kashyap had directed Percept Pictures’ Return of Hanuman for his daughter, Aaliyah.
The forthcoming 2D animated film from Percept Pictures will also feature voice overs from Javed Akhtar, Raveena Tandon and Kunal Khemmu.
Head- Feature Films, Percept Pictures, Yusuf Shaikh shared an insight, “Before we decided to approach a celebrity for the voice of Hanuman we ran the idea through a focus group of kids . Unanimously the kids echoed Salman Khan as the most suitable and loved voice for Hanuman. Post that the direction and animation team designed the character and few patent dialogues of Salman in sync with the story of Hanuman. And, when Salman saw the footage he could not believe how impactful the synergy was. Rest is history. He gave it his 100% as usual".
Salman Khan adores children and was ecstatic about this project. In Salman Khan’s words, "Aap is film mein dekhenge Ki kaise bana Bhola Bhala Bajrangi - 'Hanum":an da Damdaar. "
The film is scheduled for a release on Oct 7, 2016
