Pernia Qureshi to promote classical dance
The style icon will now be seen promoting India’s classical dance forms - Kathak and Kuchipudi through her dance recitals that she will be conducting in India and abroad including Delhi, Mumbai and abroad.
Her dance recitals, ‘Chandi Raatein – Love and Dance under the Moonlight with Pernia Qureshi’ to be held in Delhi on 12th February will be a live orchestra with musicians and singers and the whole recital will be about 50 minutes to an hour. Pernia has been a disciple of Kathak guru Raja Radha Reddy and Kaushalya Reddy and has also trained with Kumudini Lakhia, who choreographed her dance steps in Jaanisaar.
