Parineeti Chopra to grace World Cup Kabaddi’s closing ceremony in Punjab


The sixth edition of World Cup Kabaddi 2016 conducted by Ferriswheel Entertainment Pvt Ltd (FEPL) is drawing to a close. 

Having successfully conducted the first three editions of World Cup Kabaddi, Ferriswheel Entertainment Pvt. Ltd will bring the curtains down on the coveted World Cup Kabaddi 2016 on 17th November, 2016.

It’s the third consecutive year that Ferriswheel Entertainment Pvt. Ltd is associated with the World Cup Kabaddi, organised by Punjab State Sports Council.

The opening ceremony took place at Nehru Stadium, Ropar on 3rd November, 2016 and the closing ceremony will take place at Jalalabad Stadium on 17th November, 2016.

While the opening and closing ceremonies of the previous editions were headlined by Bollywood celebrities like Arjun Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Priyanka Chopra and Ranveer Singh, this year, Parineeti Chopra will bring the Bollywood presence to the closing ceremony which is scheduled to take place on 17th November, 2016. The event will also witness mesmerising performances by legendary Punjabi artists like Gurdas Maan and Harshdeep Kaur, Jassi Gill, Babbal Rai, Miss Pooja, Jaswinder Bhalla and Bal Mukund Sharma.

In 2014, Ferriswheel Entertainment Pvt. Ltd introduced stereoscopic cyclorama 3D projection in India during the 2014 edition of the opening ceremony, this year Ferriswheel Entertainment Pvt. Ltd will be introducing Drone and Helium act.

With dancers on crane, exceptional fireworks and by introducing the drone, LED wrist bands and the helium act for the first time in India, I believe we have successfully managed to blend art and technology.
