Neetu N Chandra represents India at the Korean Ambassador’s Korus Taekwondo World Championship

National award winning actress-entrepreneur Neetu N Chandra has once again made her country proud by attending the Korean Ambassador’s Korus Taekwondo World Championship in Washington (USA) as the Chief Guest.

Neetu is the only Bollywood actress to boast of 4 Dan black belts in Taekwondo and even represented India in the 1997 World Taekwondo Championships in Hong Kong.

This time, the actress being the only Indian martial arts expert, performed a 20-minute demonstration of Taekwondo alongside international black belt holders prior to the tournament, which was aired live prime time on international television.

A source close to Neetu says, “Before flying to the USA, she practiced for several hours every day with trainers to get her act right. She did the same even after reaching there and was overwhelmed about being invited as the Chief Guest.”

Neetu says, “It was an absolute honour to be part of the World Taekwondo Championship, representing India among several Taekwondo experts from different countries.”
