Superhero teams to watch out for in this year


This year will see an onslaught of epic superhero movies for all the Indian fans out there. And what is extremely special about these movies is that they will not just one but teams of superheroes with amazing powers onscreen!!

The recent Batman Vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice release was the first live-action film to feature Batman and Superman together, as well as the first theatrical film to feature live-action portrayals of top superheroes Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash. In the film, criminal mastermind Lex Luthor manipulates Batman into a preemptive battle with Superman, whom Luthor is obsessed with defeating.

Now next on the agenda is the much hyped superhero battle between Ironman and Captain America as Captain America: Civil War is upon us!! New recruits such as Spider-Man (Tom Holland) and Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) join the familiar faces of Chris Evans as the Cap and Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man. Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Emily VanCamp, Frank Grillo and Martin Freeman, with William Hurt and Daniel Brühl. There are almost 10-15 superheroes in this one movie alone!!

After Captain America: Civil War, the next superhero ensemble movie is X Men: Apocalypse Directed by Bryan Singer, with a screenplay by Simon Kinberg from a story conceived by Singer, Kinberg, Michael Dougherty and Dan Harris, the film features an ensemble cast starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Olivia Munn and Lucas Till. In X-Men: Apocalypse, ancient mutant Apocalypse awakens and plans to take over the world.

Also in the pipeline is Suicide Squad, a unique film of superpower antiheroes starring an ensemble cast featuring Will Smith, Jared Leto,Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez,Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ike Barinholtz, Scott Eastwood, and Cara Delevingne. A secret government agency known as "Task Force X," led by Amanda Waller, recruits imprisoned super villains to execute dangerous black ops missions in exchange for clemency and saving the world from an unknown but powerful threat
