Actor Gauahar Khan will be seen in her upcoming short Peanut Butter, by Playground Digital Cinema, which is sure to break stereotypes as it brings something that the internet audiences have never experienced.
For the first time, Gauahar will be seen playing the mother of an 18-year-old (played by actor Dhiraj Totlani) and the coming-of-age story revolves around her challenges. Interestingly, Dhiraj is also a huge fan of Gauahar and was quite excited to play her son’s role in the film.
While shooting for the movie, both Gauahar Khan and Dhiraj Totlani developed a great bond as friends to the extent that they started teasing each other addressing each other as ‘maa’ and ‘beta’ on the sets, much to the surprise of the crew!
Says Dhiraj, "Gauahar Khan is not just a wonderful actor but an amazing human being as well...had a lovely time shooting with my onscreen 'maa' ...she helped me everytime I had a problem delivering my scene and made the filming of Peanut Butter one of my most amazing and comfortable journeys.. The good chemistry they share now as friends certainly translated on screen, which we will get to see soon on Playground Digital cinema.
