After Khamoshiyan (2015) Gurmeet Choudhary is set to act in yet another thriller. Also starring Sharman Joshi, the film, directed by Vishal Pandya will see
Gurmeet essay the role of an aggressive lawyer.
Dressed in the traditional black robe, Choudhary,spent months in a make-shift courtroom set
that was build at a studio in Madh Island.
While the actor enjoyed every moment of filming, it was one particular scene where he enacts
a cult scene from Rajkumar Santoshi's 1993 courtroom drama Damini that left him in cold
sweats – Gurmeet will revive Sunny Deol’s most famous dialogue,“Tareekh pe tareekh milti rahi hai lekin insaaf nahi mila “ in the film and the actor
went all out to ensure he did complete justice to the scene – from watching the original repeatedly
to spending hours rehearsing the same scene over-and-over again.
Says Gurmeet, “I'd get a spot boy to leave one overhead light on and would constantly rehearse
my lines to get the nuances right.”
