Not too long ago, actress Alisa Khan made news after reports of the Delhi-based actress living on the street surfaced in the media.
The light eyed beauty had been apparently kicked out of her house by her mother and brother. It was said that Alisa has starred with Emraan Hashmi in a Vikram Bhatt’s film Aaina. The actress who is a Muslim was in the news also for marrying a Punjabi Hindu model-actor against her family’s wishes.
Now it seems the same actress has been approached as a possible contestant for Bigg Boss 10. While the makers of the show do not speak about the contestants or reveal their identity before the show goes on air, reliable sources claimed that Alisa Khan was seen at least 3 times at the Endemol office at Veera Desai Road and was also spotted visiting the Colors office in suburban Mumbai.
Sources said Alisa Khan has hired a new publicist and recently did a new glamour shoot with fashion photographer Raju Asrani.
Meanwhile, in a shocking incident, a driver belonging to phone-a-cab service – Ola Cabs abused and molested Bollywood actress Alisa Khan and even threatened to harm her physically. He even attempted to ‘hit’ her but a friend of hers intervened and saved her from further trouble, reports news portal IndiaNewsNetwork.IN
The enraged taxi driver then phoned his colleagues and asked them to come and help him. He threatened to throw her luggage out of the car.
According to Alisa Khan's statement to the police, the incident happened at 5.35 PM on Sunday near Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital as Alisa Khan was returning after visiting photographer Raju Asrani at Four Bungalows, MAHADA.
When Alisa Khan approached the Versova Police, they refused to register an FIR. According to Alisa Khan who spoke to IndiaNewsNetwork.IN, the driver was very uncouth and unhelpful from the start. “I requested him to help me with my luggage and he just started abusing me for no rhyme or reason. When I pointed out that he had no right to abuse me, he got enraged and lost his temper. He used very vulgar and abusive language and attempted to hit me. But my friend who was with me intervened and stopped him from attacking me, ” Alisa Khan said.
According to the NC (NC no 2382 / 2016 under sections 504 and 506 IPC) a copy of which is with IndiaNewsNetwork.IN – registered by the Versova Police against one Sagar Junagar resident of Navi Mumbai – driver of the vehicle MH 01 CU 1151, the complainant Alisa Khan has stated that the driver was apparently mentally disturbed and just started abusing her. When she objected to his using abusive language, the driver threatened her with dire consequences and used very filthy language.
According to Alisa Khan’s legal adviser, the case falls within the purview of section 509 IPC and the police have failed to take appropriate legal action against the accused.
