John Abraham has a strong connection with Arunachal Pradesh ,given that his football team ,North East United hails from the state.
Quite recently, the star was also announced the brand ambassador for Arunachal Pradesh and with this hopes to better discover all that the state has to offer.
Says John, “ I have always been fascinated with northeast India.Arunachal is a state rich with culture, mysticism, great people and stunning views. When I'm there, all I need is some music, my boots to walk around and a mind free from all worries to be able to embrace the mesmerising beauty of Arunachal Pradesh”.
Ziro , India’s greatest outdoor music festival is held in Arunachal every year and since John has heard so much about the festival and its aim at encouraging tourism and uniting music lovers across the globe , the actor now plans to attend the popular festival this year.
John who is currently shooting the last schedule of Force 2 ,will take time out at the end of the month to meet the members of his football team and also attend the Ziro music festival.
When contacted confirmed the star, “,I have heard a lot about the Ziro festival ...it's one of Arunachal's biggest highlights and I'm planning to visit my team( NE United) around the festival dates so that I can attend it this time . “
John Abraham's love for the Northeast has often been highlighted through his immense support to the region. Besides owning the Northeast football team, John has supported and participated in "Run for North East", a marathon hosted earlier in January.
