Big Golden Voice season 4 winners declared

92.7 BIG FM, India’s largest and No.1 radio network culminated the fourth season of Benadryl BIG Golden Voice in the most reputable and attuned way by honoring some of the notable artists from the music fraternity. The event concluded with the announcement of 23-year-old Mumbai girl Rupali Moghe as the winner of Benadryl BIG Golden Voice Season 4. The grand finale of radio’s biggest singing reality show will be aired on television for the FIRST TIME this season.                 BIG Magic will telecast the grand event on 10^th and 18^th September from 7pm – 8pm.

On winning the title, 23-year old Mumbai girl, Rupali Moghe said, “I would like to thank 92.7 BIG FM and Armaan and Amaal Sir for believing in me and providing such a great platform to showcase my talent. The finale event witnessed competing performances by the top 5 finalists among which 23-year-old Rupali Moghe from Mumbai was crowned with the title of ‘BIG Golden Voice of the Year’. 31st October's trailer releases

The trailer of Harry Sachdeva’s upcoming dramatic thriller ‘31st October’, which stars Vir Das and Soha Ali Khan, was unveiled today at a suburban venue in Mumbai.

Attended by Vir, Soha, Harry and National-award winning director Shivaji Lotan Patil, the trailer event was a major success as media-persons could not get enough of the trailer and requested that it be played twice. The trailer got a tremendous response from everyone present at the event and after the screening of the trailer; the film team interacted with the media and spoke about the film, which is based on actual events and revolves around a Sikh family’s plight during the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

Harry Sachdeva said, “We have made this film because we wanted this generation to see and know what had happened in 1984 when the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was assassinated. We have not made this film as a political statement, but as a tribute to all those who came together to display acts of heroism by saving their Sikh brethren during the riots.”

Vir Das, who plays the protagonist Devender Singh, said, “It was quite a challenging role for me as I am neither a Sikh nor a father, so for me to bring out the emotions of a family man desperate to save his family from violence, was a new experience. Having said that, I am really happy that I got to play this role and I hope everyone likes it.”

Soha, who plays Vir’s wife Tejinder in the film, added, “This film is neither about politics, nor about any particular community. This is the story of a family and their survival against all odds.”

Produced by Writer-producer Harry Sachdeva and Magical Dreams Productions Pvt Ltd, co-produced by Anand Prakash, directed by National award winner Shivaji Lotan Patil and released by Panorama Studios, ‘31st October’ is scheduled for a world-wide release on October 7, 2016.

Banjo team’s impromptu act surprises director Ravi Jadhav

Director Ravi Jadhav was pleasantly surprised while shooting for the high-energy dance number Raada Raada of his upcoming musical drama, Banjo.

The dance track features Riteish and his group of banjo players along with Nargis Fakhri. Before Ravi okayed the last shot, he was surprised by an impromptu act by the cast on stage.

Interestingly, once the song shoot came to an end, Riteish along with his banjo team and Nargis hugged each other on stage, which was not part of the dance performance. 

Ravi later learnt that the impromptu group hug was out of sheer enthusiasm and happiness for the song completion. Since the act came out naturally and went well with the song’s ending, Ravi decided to keep it as part of the song.

Actor Singer Paras Singh Minhas latest single Judaiyaan

Music composer-director Guru Sharma’s latest single, ‘Judaiyaan’ launched recently with huge fanfare has been receiving good response by the music buffs all over.

The nephew of composer Pyarelal (of veteran composer duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal fame) is known for his eccentric yet flamboyant style of shooting .Guru Sharma known for earlier videos 'Dumma Dum Mast Kalandar ' redesigned for Mika Singh feat Yo Yo Honey Singh  and Shibani Kashayap feat Mika Singh video song 'Soneya '.Now, his latest single ‘Judaiyaan’ is already making noise on the airwaves.

Popular television actor Paras Singh Minhas (Bani-Ishq Da Kalma & Jaane Kya Hoga Rama Re fame) makes his debut with Judaiyaan where he will be seen playing a lover – romancing and singing on screen.

Paras says, “I never took singing seriously. Guru is like an elder brother and he insisted that I take it seriously after he heard me at a function and I took up singing lessons from Ustaad Harinder Singh Maan. And so my singing career took off. Guru ji really pushed me into singing who also has composed the song and directed the video.”

Living up to his name, Guru is known for encouraging budding singers in the music industry. The music genius has also directed several music videos and hails from a musical gharana and has scored background music for many private albums and movies.

Ganesh Hegde's sons surprise debut on the dance reality show

The makers of the dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9 had a special surprise in store for Ganesh Hegde.

The Channel and the Jhalak team secretly invited Ganesh's Sons Giaan and Hriyaan on stage. Ganesh was pleasantly surprised when both kids walked on stage with Manish paul and danced on Ganeshs yet to release single- "Happy Dance" which also features 4yr old Giaan as a debut singer

Ganesh with a huge smile joined both of them on stage and the trio performed the Happy Dance which was certainly the cutest moment for everyone present, as the kids stole the show with their cute dance steps.

Ganesh got emotional after performing with his kids and thanked the show’s creative and production team for springing up such a cute surprise. The multi-faceted choreographer-singer who usually shy away when asked to feature his family indeed had a happy moment with his kids..

Nidhhi Agerwal bonds with Tiger Shroff's sister Krishna

After a nationwide talent hunt, the makers of Munna Michael announced Gen-X discovery Nidhhi Agerwal as the lead opposite Tiger Shroff in the romantic musical 

The actress , who is a trained ballet dancer has now struck a friendship with Tiger's sister Krishna , who is an assistant director on the film. Sources reveal that Krishna and Nidhhi have grown close , with Krishna being present for all of Nidhhi's acting workshops.

Given that the two have hit it off so well, Nidhhi even attended the special screening of Tiger Shroff's Flying Jatt with Krishna.

Says a source, " Both Krishna and Nidhhi are around the same age group and have a lot in common . Krishna is an AD on Munna Michael that marks Nidhhi's big Bollywood debut and the two have really hit it off. Krishna has been very supportive and is present for all of Nidhhi's workshops.They even attended the screening of Flying Jatt together. "

Telugu action entertainer Janatha Garage starring megastars Junior NTR & Mohanlal on September 1

Soha Ali Khan goes street shopping for 31st October

Actress Soha​​ Ali Khan who will be next seen in movie Based on Indra Gandhi assassination went shopping in the streets of Chandigarh to pick up clothes for the  film 31st October. ​Apparently, Soha plays a very average punjabi girl based in 80's and mother of two kids.​ The script demanded her to play a character of a simple Punjabi girl, so she took this decision to go for street shopping in Chandigarh to make her look very real  and authentic as her character demanded a De-Glam in the movie.Soha was keen to have clothes in the movie which were wore by an average punjabi girls Whch wasn't to expensive and gaudy.

She wanted a very authentic ​Punjabi look for which she herself along with her stylish went shopping on the streets of Chandigarh's sector 17 and 22 where everything ​was easily available​. From her dupattas to jootisto whatever was required she purchased it from there. She later said that this is actually going to help her understand the role much better.

Soha says, " It was a very new experience for me , going on the streets of Punjab and buying little little things for myself which not only added the punjabi taste to my attire but also impacted my personality for my role as a Sikhni, I wanted to get completely absorbed in my character and I felt it was good to take those little initiatives, moreover the people of Punjab were highly sweet and encouraging",

Soha who was last seen in Ghayal once again is all set​ to hit the screens through her next film 31st ​October film which is releasing ​next month.

Emraan Hashmi's son Ayaan turns showstopper for Hamleys

Emraan Hashmi's son Ayaan today turned showstopper for Hamley , styled by Diesel at the Lakme India Fashion Week.

Ayaan was joined by his doting father as he took to the stage for his very first appearance at a Fashion week. The two walked the ramp in color coordinated outfits for Hamleys amidst cheers from the audience. Ayaan turned showstopper for the show , styled head to toe by Diesel, alongside the winners of Hamley's Ramp Camp contest.

Says Emraan, "It was great walking the ramp at lakme with Ayaan . Diesel and hamleys are two of mine and ayaans favourite brands.  Couldn't get better.  And the vibe in the room was electrifying. It was great fun."
