Omkar Kapoor, who made a splashing debut as the lead actor in Luv Ranjan’s Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, is a big Squashgame lover and likes to play whenever he gets the opportunity.
Not many know that Omkar is a national level Squash player. Considering his passion for the game, the young and talented actor has been contemplating to set up a Squash training club in Mumbai to promote the sport.
Omkar and his group of Squash fanatics have been working on the initiative to set up a training club in Mumbai. Interestingly, the club will be Omkar’s tribute to his mother, whom he considers his biggest inspiration.
A source says, “Omkar loves to play squash since childhood. He has always been a sports person since his school and college days and his inspiration for this particular sport was his mother. Her mother has always encouraged him in every aspect of his life. And now that Omkar wants to promote the sport on a big scale, he is coming up with a training club dedicated to her mother.”
Omkar says, “It’s an intense and fast-paced sport and that’s why I love it. It makes me even more competitive and it’s a great way to vent out your angst which fills up on a daily basis of life. I always play with a better player than me because it helps me improve my game. I wish I can be a medium to put a spotlight on this amazing game on a national level.”
