Vogue India, the country’s foremost fashion, beauty and lifestyle media brand, honoured India’s best faces, beauty products, services and experts at the seventh edition of the annual Vogue Beauty Awards at Taj Lands Ends, Mumbai recently. Hosted by the stylish Sarah Jane Dias along with Vogue India’s Editor, Priya Tanna and Beauty Editor, Nidhi Sharma-Punjabi, the glitzy event was attended by several celebrities, socialites and senior representatives of eminent beauty brands in the country.
Encompassing the broad umbrellas of Skincare, Anti-ageing, Make-up, Fragrance, Haircare and Hairstyling, Vogue Beauty Awards 2016 presented awards to 41 categories of products where the best beauty brands were awarded for upping the ante in innovation and product quality.
Among the ‘Best of Bollywood’ awards, Katrina Kaif won the title of Beauty of the Year, Ranbir Kapoor was awarded Most Beautiful Man, Parineeti Chopra was recognized as Inspiration Icon, Radhika Apte was adjudged Flawless Face, Karisma Kapoor bagged the title of Ageless Beauty and Pakistani beauty Mahira Khan was the unanimous choice for Face to Watch Out For.
The Vogue Beauty Awards 2016’s esteemed panel of judges comprised actor Aditi Rao Hydari, model Indrani Dasgupta, entrepreneur Kalyani Chawla, Fashion Designer Anita Dongre, creative consultant and film producer Shaana Levy–Bahl, Welspun India Pvt. Ltd.’s Dipali Goenka, TV Host Mini Mathur & industry experts like skincare specialist Dr. Harshna Bijlani, make-up authority Mickey Contractor, dermatologist Dr. Malavika Kohli, hairstylist Adhuna Bhabani, Vogue India’s Editor Priya Tanna and Beauty Editor Nidhi Sharma-Punjabi.
