Manish Paul – the biggest & the most successful entertainer in the Indian television industry

Having started his prolific career as a popular radio jockey, Manish Paul became a household name hosting successful television reality shows including Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and prestigious award ceremonies.

Considered as India’s No 1 host and the talented actor – Manish Paul chose to make his acting debut with an unconventional subject, Mickey Virus, followed by the second installment of the successful franchise – Tere Bin Laden – Dead or Alive.

For those who think it was all easy for Manish to achieve the entertainer tag, it wasn’t! Manish shifted base to mayanagri Mumbai with a show called Sunday Tango and what followed were successful VJing with Zee Music and RJing for Radio City’s popular show, Kasakai Mumbai.

Manish later graduated to television and became part of popular daily soaps including Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi, Ssshhh…Phir Koi Hai and Kuchh Cook Hota Hai among others. And then Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa happened that changed the game for the brilliant performer as it gave him a new identity and gave the Indian television audience their new favourite host.

Within no time, Manish’s spontaneity, playful wit, naturally flirtatious persona, ability to laugh at himself and connect with the show’s contestants and the audience, he made the show synonymous with his name.

Besides showcasing his acting skills on the big screen, Manish is undoubtedly the most celebrated TV anchor whose popularity has surpassed the likes of Kapil Sharma, Mona Singh and Ragini Khanna.
