Anushka Ranjan, who made a striking debut with Wedding Pullav released last year, has been working tirelessly for rape victims ever since ‘BETI movement – A Charity For Women’ started by her mother-social activist, Anu Ranjan, came into existence.
The gorgeous actress along with her mother Anu Ranjan celebrated BETI’s 10th anniversary with a rocking fashion show aimed to raise funds for the victims of sexual abuse. The fashion show held at Mumbai’s plus hotel witnessed almost 100 people from the television and film industry walking the ramp in support of the cause. Ms Amruta Fadnavis, wife of CM Shri Devendra Fadnavis was the Special Guest on the occasion.
Among the best dressed celebrities at the event, the gorgeous Anushka Ranjan was a head-turner as she graciously walked the ramp in a Manish Malhotra lehenga and jewelry by Anmol.
BETI movement was started in 2006 by Anu Ranjan and her daughter-actor Anushka Ranjan (BETI’s brand ambassador) to redress the wrongs perpetrated on women to the utmost of their capacities.
Among the ones who attended the event includes Yuvika Choudhary, Anita Hassanandani, Rohit Roy with daughter Kiara, Satish Kaushik, Ragini Khanna, Shakti Kapoor, Ajaz Khan and others.
