Filmmakers
Neeraj Pandey and Shital Bhatia, who are synonymous with delivering good cinema
content, are back to give the audience India's first spin-off! After much
appreciated and critically applauded films like 'Baby,' 'A Wednesday,'
'Special 26,' and 'M.S. Dhoni- The Untold Story,' the makers are back with a
power-packed 'Naam Shabana.' Taapse Pannu plays the titular role and it is
based on her character in 'Baby.'
The makers
and the cast members, namely, Neeraj Pandey, Shital Bhatia, Taapsee Pannu
and Manoj Bajpayee had an informal gathering yesterday to showcase the trailer
of the film. The trailer is full of action and takes us to the back-story of
Taapsee's character in 'Baby,' explaining how and why she trains to become an
undercover agent. Manoj Bajpayee has been shown as her handler who is
overlooking and taking charge of getting Taapsee trained to perfection in
intense action sequences and we see her perform daredevil stunts and develop
exceptional martial arts skills too. The starcast of Baby, Anupam
Kher, Danny Denzongpa and Akshay Kumar are also seen in Cameos.
'Naam
Shabana' trailer grips us with its thrilling content along with an exhilarating
glimpse of her intriguing journey. The trailer brings to celluloid the
circumstances and incidents that led to the making of Shabana Khan. Sources
also reveal that the film is based on a real life story and Shabana's character
is inspired by a RAW agent.
It is
exciting to see Akshay Kumar back for a cameo and his straight-faced punchline
in the end provides comic relief to the intense film. The cast of Baby also
further add to the hardhitting storyline of the film.
The trailer
is receiving overwhelming, positive response and the movie is all set to
keep the audience at the edge of their seats and give them an action-packed
adrenaline rush, with Taapsee exploring her action side like never
before!
