Nawazuddin Siddiqui in search of his perfect bride

Directed by Debamitra Hassan, Motichoor Chaknachoor is a wedding comedy goes on floors recently. The film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Athiya Shetty in the lead roles and the major portions of it is set in Bhopal. The film is about wedding and relationships and promises many twists and turns. This film marks the directorial debut of television director Debamitra Hassan and is produced by Rajesh Bhatia of Woodpecker Movies.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays a role of a guy who is in search of his perfect bride. Athiya Shetty will be seen playing a small-town north Indian woman for which she had undergone rigorous dialect training for the role. It will be interesting to such an uncommon pairing on screen for the first time.

सिनेमाची कथा मला जेव्हा ऐकवली तेव्हाच ती मला आवडली आणि अवघ्या वीस मिनिटात मी होकार दिला.महाराष्ट्रात राहत असल्याने मराठी भाषा मी खूप ऐकली आहे. मला मराठी भाषा बोललेली समजते. या सिनेमासाठी मी खास मराठी शिकलो आणि त्यासाठी मला लोकेशची फार मदत झाली असे अभिनेता के.के.मेनन यांनी सांगितले.

मान्सून फुटबॉल या चित्रपटातील भूमिका ही माझ्यासाठी मोठी संधी आहे. अशा चांगल्या चित्रपटाचा एक भाग असणं माझ्यासाठी नक्कीच आनंददायी आहे. माझ्या वाट्याला गुजराती व्यक्तीची भूमिका आली आहे. मी मराठी असल्याने ही भूमिका माझ्यासाठी आव्हानात्मक आहे. माझ्या मेकअप दादांकडून गुजराती शिकलो, लहेजा समजून घेतला. तसंच माझ्या अनेक गुजराती मित्रांबरोबर राहून वागणं-बोलणंही समजून घेतलं. या भूमिकेसाठी मी जवळपास सहा किलो वजन वाढवलं आहे,' असं अमोलनं सांगितलं.

अमोल बरोबर काम करण्याबद्दल दिग्दर्शक मिलिंद उके म्हणाले, 'अमोल हा संवेदनशील अभिनेता आहे. त्याला दिलेली भूमिका जरा अवघडच आहे. मात्र, अमोलनं या भूमिकेचा अभ्यास केला, त्यासाठी आवश्यक असलेली तयारी केली, अगदी शेवटच्या क्षणापर्यंत त्यानं भूमिकेवर केलेल्या कामामुळे त्यानं प्रत्येक प्रसंग ताकदीनं सादर केला. प्रेक्षकांना त्याचा हा अभ्यासू अभिनय नक्कीच आवडेल आणि लक्षात राहील याची मला पूर्ण खात्री आहे.'

Last time When Kangana Ranaut played an Athlete( National Level Hockey Player in Tanu Weds Manu Returns, 2015), she broke Box Office records and won the audiences and awards. So naturally when the news about her donning the sports cap once again for the silver screen came in, it piqued the interest of all. This time around Kangana is set to play a Kabaddi player In Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s Directorial Panga and is gearing up not just to master the tricks of kabaddi but also to undergo complete Physical Transformation to justify her character. The Petite Kangana will be putting on 6-7 Kilos for her Part in Panga and then as the film progresses she will shed the weight as return to her normal petite self.

 According to film source, "Kangana will start training in kabaddi as soon as she is back from her vacation in New York. Though she is familiar with the sport, she requires training to showcase it like a professional. But, before she starts doing so, she will gain weight. She is on a high-calorie protein diet, and, over the next month, intends to pack on six kilos."
