Pakhi postponed

Under the banner of Chilsag pictures the social crime drama “Pakhi” unfolding the miseries of the web of child trafficking got stuck for censor certificate. Pakhi is a social crime drama movie which had made headlines in the media in the recent days and was nationally promoted but got stuck in for the censor certification. Earlier it was scheduled to be released on 10th August 2018 but now will be postponed.

Pakhi is written by writer-director Sachin Gupta. Sumeet Kaul, Anamika Shukla, Pihu, Shikandar Khan and Anmol Goswami are in the leads. The music is embraced by Shivang Mathur and lyrics by Shayra Apoorva. Navin Kumar is the cinematographer and Ajay Shivan is the editor and choreographer of the film. The background score is given by Nikkhil Koparde.

Crazy Matrimonial Video of Jackky Bhagnani

This afternoon, Alia Bhatt shared a crazy matrimonial video starring Jackky Bhagnani. The video happens to be the first glimpse of his upcoming film "Mitron", directed by National award-winning director, Nitin Kakkar.

Sharing the first look of the film on her social media account, Alia said: "I came across a crazy matrimonial video. Simply loved it...! #MitronMania begins on 14th August."

The video is titled Jai and Pappa, features Jackky and his on-screen father, who is struggling to get his good-for-nothing son married. Jai, a Gujarati guy, 175 cms tall with a wheatish complexion and very homely, for  more details check out his Video resume here:

"Mitron" directed by Nitin Kakkar and produced by Abundantia Entertainment, stars Jackky Bhagnani in the lead role along with Kritika Kamra, Neeraj Sood Shivam Parekh and Pratik Gandhi in pivotal roles. The trailer of the film will be unveiled on August 14, 2018, and the film will hit the silver screens on September 14, 2018.

Shonali Bose to write and direct film based on an inspiring true story

The much awaited untitled film starring Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim in the lead roles begins its first schedule in Mumbai today.

The film, based on an incredibly moving true life story, is to be helmed by National Award winning filmmaker Shonali Bose and will be filmed across Mumbai, Delhi, London and the Andamans. The dialogues are by National Award winning writer Juhi Chaturvedi and the music will be scored by Pritam.

Shonali Bose shares,* “This is a film that is extremely close to my heart and I am glad to have such a stellar team on board. This is a dream star cast and I have found the best, most supportive producers in Ronnie and Sid. I am looking forward to a great journey ahead and hoping to give our audiences a truly memorable cinematic experience.”

For Ronnie and Sid, this is their sixth time working with Priyanka Chopra after collaborating on landmark films including Fashion, Kaminey, and Barfi.

Siddharth Roy Kapur said, “It is exciting to begin Roy Kapur Films’ first production with a story as special as this one, and to collaborate on it with RSVP and Ronnie, who has been a mentor to me throughout my career. We are also happy to take forward our long and successful association with Priyanka, and to have her production house Purple Pebble Pictures as a co-producing partner on the film. I’ve always admired Farhan as an actor, and I am thrilled that he is playing a part that is tailor-made for him. For the first time ever, the logo of a Bollywood film has been made by artisans! The marketing team of Sui Dhaaga – Made in India wanted to celebrate the rich and diverse culture of making Indian handicraft. So the team reached out to local artisans and craftsmen from across the length and breadth of the country to create the logo of the film in their unique stitching styles.

“To position our film Sui Dhaaga – Made in India, we realised that it was just not enough to act like a film marketeer. In fact we had to look at ourselves as a team marketing the art and handicraft culture of our country. With this embodiment of our strategy we needed an idea that would be the fulcrum of our entire campaign. And what could be a better idea than inviting the artisans of our country to design the logo of our film. We reached out to 15 uniquely skilled artists/artist groups across the lengths and breadths of our nation who helped us design our film logo. It has been an exhaustive and most rewarding experience for all of us at YRF. It has taken six months to plan, research and execute our logo in 15 different styles that celebrates our country’s diversity and entrepreneur spirit.” says Manan Mehta, VP – Marketing and Merchandising, YRF.

The Sui Dhaaga logo has been done in a striking, globally popular Indian hand needlework forms of Kashida and Sozni from Kashmir, colourful Phulkari from Punjab, the intricate thread work forms Rabari and Mochi Bharat from Gujarat, Phool Patti from Uttar Pradesh and Zardozi work from Lucknow. It has also be created in Rajasthan's prominent crafts like Aari, Banjara and Gota Patti, Tamil Nadu's popular Toda style and Karnataka's Kasuti design. Traveling towards the east, which constitutes of over 50 percent of the India's handloom exports, the film's logo has been made in Pipli style from Odisha, Handloom work from Assam, Kantha stitch work from West Bengal.

By creating a logo in as many as 15 different needle art forms from India, Sui Dhaaga hopes to create awareness of India’s culture amongst today’s youth and the impact that it leaves on modern design, fabrics and fashion at large. Interestingly, YRF also chose to release to the logo on National Handloom Day that celebrates the magnificence of Indian handloom the world over.

A film about finding love and respect through self-reliance, Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma starrer Sui Dhaaga - Made in India is a heart-warming story that celebrates the spirit of self-reliance. The film’s plot is inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy and takes a leaf out of the hugely acclaimed Make In India campaign. While Varun plays the role of a tailor, Anushka plays an embroiderer in the film.

Both champion actors, Varun and Anushka have been paired for the first time and are definitely the most-awaited on-screen jodis of 2018. Kartik Welcomes Kriti To Gwalior In The Sweetest Way Possible

The new sensation of Bollywood Kartik Aaryan finally begins shooting for his next film, Luka Chuppi. The actor is said to be very excited about this new film which promises to be super-entertaining and what makes this film even more special for him is the fact that he’s shooting for the first schedule of it in his hometown, Gwalior.

Few days back Kartik reached his hometown to begin shooting for the movie and the entire town welcomed their boy warm-heartedly. It was almost like a celebration when Kartik stepped into the city. Nawazuddin encourages farming

Nawazuddin Siddiqui may have reached exponential heights as one of the finest actors in the country today, however, the star continues to remain grounded to his roots.

Sources reveal that Nawaz who hailed from a small town ( Budhana ) and has a background in agriculture is scouting for a plot in Kasara. The actor in his small way hopes to pursue farming and also educate local farmers about the advancements in agricultural technology and other methods for a better harvest.

Says Nawazuddin's brother Shamas Siddiqui says, "Of late, it has become difficult for Nawaz bhai to travel all the way to our village, owing to his hectic schedule. We wanted to buy a plot close to Mumbai so that he can drive down to Kasara whenever he has the time. We have finalised a few plots that are close to the river, and will seal the deal by this week. " Adding that, " Last year, we had implemented new irrigation techniques in Budhana, which helped the farmers there tremendously. Similarly, Nawaz bhai and I want to create awareness here too. "

Sultan Set to Release in China on August 31

Salman Khan-Anushka Sharma starrer Sultan, the homegrown story of an underdog that wins against all odds, broke box office records and won over audiences in India. Now the powerful wrestling drama is set to get a wide release across China on August 31, 2018. Yash Raj Films collaborates with leading distribution company E Stars China to screen Sultan in over 11,000 screens, targeting around 40,000 shows a day. The film will release with the same title, Sultan.

Produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Sultan’s story resonates universally. It will get a Chinese subtitled release. Speaking about the wide China release, director Ali Abbas Zafar says, "Every time a film releases and newer set of audiences see it, you get a different perspective altogether. China is a fast growing market for Indian Cinema. I'm really excited and looking forward to people's reaction to Sultan in China."

किशोर कुमार यांचे खरे नाव आभासकुमार गांगुली. भारतीय चित्रपटसृष्टी्चा इतिहास लिहायचा झाल्यास किशोरकुमार या नावाशिवाय तो पूर्णच होऊच शकणार नाही. १९६० च्याल दशकातील देवआनंद पासून ते १९८० च्याव दशकातील अनिल कपूर पर्यंतच्या् अनेक नायकांना यशाची चव चाखविण्यात किशोरदांचा वाटा मोठा आहे. बॉलीवूडला पहिला सूपरस्टार राजेश खन्ना यांच्या रुपाने मिळाला मात्र त्यामागेही किशोरदांचा खास योडली आवाजच होता हे नाकारून चालणार नाही. या हरहुन्नमरी नायक व गायकाच्या गायनात तल्लीन होऊन गाणारा गायक म्हणून किशोर कुमार यांची आबालवृद्धांमध्ये ओळख आहे. किशोरदांनी गाण्यात जीव ओतून त्यांना विविध रंग चढवून मैफिली सजविल्या आहेत. चित्रपटातही ते चमकले. त्यांनी सुमारे ४०० हून अधिक चित्रपटांत गाणी गायिली. ‘चलती का नाम गाडी‘ सारख्या निखळ विनोदी चित्रपटाबरोबरच ’दूर गगन की छाँव में’ सारखे गंभीर चित्रपटही काढले.
किशोरदाचे वडीलबंधू दादा मुनी उर्फ अशोक कुमार व अनुप कुमार यांचे बोट धरून स्वत:चे नशीब अजमावण्यासाठी त्यांनी चित्रपटातील अभिनयातून करियरचा श्रीगणेशा केला. त्यावेळी चित्रपट सृष्टीत अभिनेत्यामध्ये सर्व गुण पाहिले जात होते. त्यात अभिनेत्याला गायनाच्या कसोटीमधून ही जावे लागत होते. काढण्याची. १९५० मध्ये आभास कुमार व कुंजालाल गांगुली यांनी किशोर कुमारला 'मुकद्दर' मध्ये काम दिले. त्यात किशोरदाचा रोल ही तसा चांगलाच होता. मात्र त्यात त्यांना गायनाची संधी मिळाली नाही. त्यानंतर १९५१ मध्ये किशोरदा मन्नाडे यांच्यासह गायलेच. मात्र त्यांना त्यावेळी त्यांनी जागा मिळाली ती पार्श्वगायकांच्यामध्ये, तीही 'आंदोलन' चित्रपटात.
प्रत्येक व्यक्तीच्या मागे मोठा संघर्ष असतो व त्या संघर्षाला किशोरदाही कसे अपवाद राहणार. १९५२ ते १९६० दरम्यान किशोरदाने बऱ्याच चित्रपटांमध्ये भूमिका केल्या. अधिकार, धोबी डॉक्टर, इल्जाम, मिस माला, नोकरी, पहिली झलक हे चित्रपट तर त्यांनी अवघ्या एका वर्षात म्हणजेच १९५४ मध्ये आटोपल्या. त्यानंतर त्यांनी अभिनयासह आवाजाला दिशा मिळाली. अभिनय व गायन यांचा किशोरदांचा समांतर प्रवास सुरू झाला. १९५६ मध्ये नऊ चित्रपट करणारा अभिनेता म्हणून त्यांनी त्यांची नवीन ओळख जगाला करून दिली. किशोरदाने आपल्या मिश्किल स्वभावाने चित्रपट सृष्टीत विनोदी भूमिकांचा नवा ट्रेंड आणला. अभिनय करताना गायन व संगीताच्या तालावर थिरकणे या त्रिवेणी कलांचा संगम असलेल्या किशोर नी दर्शकांसह श्रोत्यांवर भुरळ घातली. नायकासह गायक यांच्या भूमिकेने तर दर्शकांना मंत्रमुग्ध केले. त्यानंतर त्यांनी मीना कुमारी, वैजयंती माला, निम्मी, कामिनी कौशल, मधुबाला, नूतन, माला सिन्हा व बीना रॉय यांच्यासारख्या नायिकांसोबत चित्रपट केले. अभिनयासह त्यांनी या चित्रपटामध्ये गायनाची दुहेरी भूमिका केल्याने तर त्यांनी त्यांचे नाव यशाच्या शिखरावर पोहचविले. 'मेरा नाम अब्दुल रहमान', 'नखरे वाली', 'कुंएँ मे कुद जाना यार पर शादी मत करना', 'इना मीना डिका', 'हम तो मोहब्बत करेगा', 'पाच रुपया बारा आणा' अशा एक ना अनेक गीतांमधून किशोरदा आपल्यात आहेत. एके दिवशी अशोक कुमार यांच्या घरी अचानक संगीतकार सचिन देव बर्मन आले. तेव्हा बाथरुममध्ये असलेल्या किशोरदांचे स्वर त्यांच्या कानी पडले. ‘कौन गा राहा है?’ असे त्यांनी दादामुनींना विचारले. त्यावर अशोक कुमार यांनी मोठ्या गायकाची ओळख सचिन देव बर्मनला करून दिली. तेव्हा सुप्रसिद्ध संगीतकार सचिनदेव बर्मनने 'बाथरूम सिंगर' किशोरदाला ओळखले. तेव्हापासून सुमधुर गीतांचा झरा किशोरदांच्या कंठातून वाहायला प्रारंभ झाला.
यादगार गीतांना स्वर देणारे किशोर कुमार त्यानंतर चित्रपटाचे निर्माता, दिग्दर्शक तर गीतकार यांच्या भूमिकेत पडद्यावर दिसू लागले. त्यांनी त्याच्या चित्रपटासाठी गीते लिहिली नाही तर त्यांनी संगीतही दिले. 'चलती का नाम गाडी', 'बढती का नाम दाढी', 'जमीन', 'दूर का राही', 'झुमरू' आदी चित्रपट किशोरदांनी दर्शकांना नव्या रूपात दिले. एक चतुर नार, गोरे रंग पे ना इतना गुमान कर, ये रातें ये मौसम नदी का किनारा ये चंचल हवा, दिल क्या करे जब किसी को, किसी से प्यार हो जाए, अशा अनेक सदाबहार गितांनी मंत्रमुग्ध करणारे पार्श्वगायक मा.किशोर कुमार यांचे निधन १३ आक्टोबर १९८७ रोजी झाले.  मा.किशोर कुमार यांना आदरांजली.
